Purpose-Built Production Facility And Offices
Lswp Properties Ltd was appointed to construct a new purpose-built production facility with integrated office accommodation on a vacant industrial plot in Halifax. Works included bulk excavation, foundations, drainage and a structural steel frame, followed by insulated cladding, roofing and ground-bearing concrete slabs. The layout was designed to give the client a clear, flexible production floor with generous loading bays and roller shutter access for articulated vehicles. First fix and second fix trades were coordinated around the installation of specialist process equipment, keeping the programme aligned with the client’s commissioning dates.
A two-storey office block was formed at the front of the building, providing reception, meeting rooms and welfare areas with high levels of natural light. External works included service yards, car parking, retaining walls and secure fencing. Throughout the project we implemented a structured waste management plan, segregating metal, timber and inert arisings for recycling and using licensed carriers for all off-site movements. The finished facility delivers a modern, efficient working environment that meets the client’s operational needs and provides capacity for future expansion.
